Birthday Invites & Outfit

Monkey's 2nd birthday is coming up soon and I am doing a John Deere theme this year with a simpler hot dog cookout in the back yard since I'll be about 6 months along when it happens and don't want to do to much. I worked on his invite this week as well as sewed together his outfit, made him shorts and a appliqued tshirt. I am very happy how it turned out :-)

Baby Bean's GENDER!

We were VERY surprised a few days ago when our new insurance cards came in a month early and I was able to schedule an appointment with Dr Thompson for our 20 week fetal assessment sonogram and find out the gender of baby bean. My appointment was scheduled for yesterday and unfortunately Darin couldn't be there since he was working. Mom offered to watch Jordan and Walker was in school so I got to go see bean today all by myself. It was so nice seeing him move around and he was so active. Dr Thompson really was good with the ultrasound and pointing everything out. I made a short 2 minute movie so that Darin and the boys could watch it later. During the ultrasound bean was VERY proud to show off and we saw very plainly that bean is in fact a

                                    BOY!!

So looks like I was right all along in feeling like he was in fact a boy. Up until that point we had not been able to come up with a name boy or girl and then this morning it just clicked, we are naming him Hunter Wayne.

His sonogram went amazingly well. He is growing and Dr Thompson says he is already about 1 pound 4 ounces, and is measuring about 8 days ahead (but since we know for sure the date I conceived he isn't changing my due date) He said that it is great that he is showing to be a little bigger then normal as we will probably be having him between 36 & 37 weeks since I delivered Walker at 36 weeks & Jordan at 36 weeks 6 days. That means Hunter could show up as early as July 2nd. We are really excited about seeing him and seeing the boys with him. Only about 15 or so weeks to go!

This is how we told Walker, after school I had him sit down and close his eyes, then when I had the camera ready my sister handed him this outfit - his reaction was priceless - he was VERY disappointed as he really wanted a baby sister, however once it set it (and I threatened to lick his face lol) he smiled so I could send this photo out to show everyone else.

Walker will turn 6 about a month after Hunter gets here and Jordan will be 2 about 3 months before so I think that is pretty good spacing for now.

20 week Baby Bump - Half Way Point

Well today I am 20 weeks, and if this baby follows his/her brother I am more then half way through with only about 16 -17 weeks left to go. (Walker was born at 36 weeks, Jordan was born at 36 weeks 6 days) I am really starting to round off and it's nice looking pregnant and people noticing not just wondering if I've gained weight lol. I still have not hit my pre pregnancy weight so technically I have no weight gain yet but I am sure that will change.

Daddy & Walker's New Toys

We decided to give Walker and early birthday present so that he would have all summer to play with it. We had been looking at getting him a battery powered 4 wheeler since he is to big for his cub cadet but when we saw this "spider man" gas powered 110 cc four wheeler for about 1/2 of what the battery one cost we couldn't pass it up. And of course Daddy had to get one so that he can go riding with him and have something to drive while out hog hunting.
